Now you can own one of the rarest nuclear hardened underground structures in the world!
This property was a part of the Stanley R. Mickelesen Safeguard Complex located in NE North Dakota. This property, for sale by owner, was one of 4 Sprint Missile Sites located approximately 10-20 miles from a central radar control site. Constructed in the early 1970’s, these bases were a last line of defense meant to intercept ICBMs coming over the North Pole. This missile site was decommissioned in the early 1970’s.
These heavily reinforced, concrete, underground and above ground structures were designed to withstand an almost direct strike by a nuclear warhead. The property consists of 36 acres fenced with secure military grade fencing and the above ground building functions as an entrance guard house.
This facility would make an ideal investment opportunity for a number of uses. Among them being, but not limited to:
-secure survival retreat/community
-secure data storage facility
-cannabis grow site
-cold storage facility
Uses are only limited by your imagination.
