Spotware, the developer behind the popular cTrader trading platform, has recently announced the release of cBroker v9.5, an updated version of its comprehensive back-office solution for brokers. This release, made public around May 22, 2025, introduces several new features designed to enhance operational efficiency, flexibility, and risk management for brokers.
Here are some of the key highlights of cBroker v9.5:
    * Bypassing Margin and Balance Checks: A significant new feature allows brokers to perform balance operations (deposits/withdrawals) even when an account’s margin level is below 100% or its balance is insufficient. This provides greater flexibility in managing accounts, particularly in scenarios where strict margin or balance conditions might otherwise prevent necessary actions.
    * Higher Maximum Leverage: The new version expands leverage customization, enabling managers to set a user’s maximum leverage up to 10,000:1, a substantial increase from the previous cap of 4,000:1. This update also includes new preset options for higher leverage (6,000, 7,000, 8,000, and 9,000).
    * Bulk Force-Closure of Open Positions: For improved operational efficiency and risk control, cBroker 9.5 introduces a bulk action to quickly force-close all open positions on a specific account. This tool is useful for responding to policy breaches or sudden market shifts that require immediate action.
    * Moving Open Positions Between Books: The update enhances position management by allowing brokers to move open positions between different books, which can be particularly useful for hedging purposes or when dealing with liquidity provider rejections.
    * Transferring Settings Across Group Profiles: Brokers can now seamlessly copy specific settings from one group profile to multiple others within the same tab, streamlining configuration and ensuring consistency across different user groups.
    * Keeping Original Book for Symbol Split: For stock management, cBroker now includes a “Keep original book” option for symbol split operations, ensuring that open positions are closed and automatically reopened within the same book post-split.
    * Administrative Improvements: Other enhancements include the ability to easily update manager names directly within the application and refinements to the user interface, such as alternating grey shades in grid displays for improved readability.
Overall, cBroker v9.5 aims to provide brokers with more granular control over account management, risk parameters, and operational workflows, reinforcing Spotware’s commitment to scalable and broker-driven solutions.
