Miami International Holdings (MIH) has successfully completed its acquisition of The International Stock Exchange Group (TISE). The deal, valued at approximately £70.4 million, became effective on June 6, 2025, following an initial agreement reached in March 2025.
MIH, a leading operator of regulated financial markets, acquired TISE through its wholly-owned subsidiary, MIH East Holdings, Limited. MIH East Holdings already held a significant stake in TISE prior to this full acquisition.
    Key aspects of the acquisition:
    * Strategic Expansion: This acquisition is a key milestone in MIH’s international growth strategy, allowing it to establish a presence in Guernsey and expand its global footprint. MIH aims to enhance TISE’s offerings and expand its international reach through investments in technology, business development, and operational processes.
    * Strengthening TISE: TISE’s CEO, Cees Vermaas, expressed excitement about collaborating with MIH to further strengthen TISE’s position as a leading European listing venue. The acquisition is expected to accelerate TISE’s growth ambitions and broaden its service offerings.
    * Value Proposition: TISE, headquartered in Guernsey, is well-known as one of Europe’s major professional bond markets. At the end of 2024, it had over 4,400 securities on its Official List with a total market value exceeding £750 billion. The acquisition highlights the value and potential MIH sees in TISE’s established reputation and business foundation.
    * Regulatory Approvals: The acquisition was subject to the approval of TISE ordinary shareholders and other regulatory clearances, which have now been satisfied.
This move signifies MIH’s commitment to expanding its operations beyond the U.S. and reinforces the trend of consolidation within the global exchange landscape.
