Ouch: May Chicago PMI fell to 40.4 vs. 47.2 est. & 48.6 in prior month … new orders, production, and inventories all fell at faster pace (all contracting); supplier deliveries and prices paid rose at slower pace (both expanding) … employment slipped into contraction pic.twitter.com/odZiPk531V
