As of Friday, May 9, 2025, there is one company listed on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) that is directly involved in the oil and gas sector:
* Swala Oil and Gas (Tanzania) Plc (SWALA): This is a Tanzanian oil and gas exploration company. Its ticker symbol on the DSE is SWALA.
While there might be other listed companies whose operations indirectly relate to the energy sector (e.g., companies that supply materials or services to the energy industry), Swala Oil and Gas is the only one explicitly identified as an oil and gas exploration company directly traded on the DSE.
