Deutsche Börse Group is enhancing its integrated connectivity for the buy side through a strategic partnership between SimCorp and Clearstream. Both SimCorp and Clearstream are part of the Deutsche Börse Group.
This collaboration aims to provide investment managers using SimCorp’s front-to-back investment platform, SimCorp One, with integrated access to Clearstream’s post-trade solutions. The initial live offering focuses on a fund data management service, enabling SimCorp clients to disseminate data, documents, and regulatory reporting for their funds via Clearstream’s Kneip platform. This is expected to lead to cost savings and increased efficiency and scale for buy-side firms by allowing them to outsource these tasks.
Looking ahead, the partnership plans to expand its offerings to include:
    * Fund distribution through the FundsDLT Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) transfer agency platform.
    * Solutions for collateral management and tri-party repo.
This strategic move is a significant step in Deutsche Börse Group’s broader strategy to develop a comprehensive buy-side offering that connects investment managers to its wider trade and post-trade ecosystem. The goal is to provide investment managers with more ways to leverage investment management solutions by directly accessing market infrastructure.
