The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has officially withdrawn the operational license of Itrade Global (CY) Ltd, two years after the company effectively ceased its operations as a CFDs broker. The decision was formalized today, June 13, 2025, although the actual decision was made by CySEC on April 14, 2025.
Itrade Global operated two well-known forex and CFDs broker brands: TradedWell and InvestFW. Both brands had already shut down their services, with TradedWell notably displaying a notice of “operational optimization” in January 2023, shortly after it stopped allowing new trading positions and deposits.
This license withdrawal comes after Itrade Global had already faced significant regulatory scrutiny. In 2023, CySEC imposed a substantial €1 million fine on the company due to numerous violations connected to its tied agent in Spain. These violations included:
    * Failure to identify, prevent, or manage conflicts of interest.
    * Not acting fairly, honestly, and professionally when providing investment services to clients.
    * Failing to ensure that all information provided to clients was fair, clear, and not misleading.
    * Lack of proper oversight of its tied agent’s activities in Spain.
    * Infringements related to compliance functions, product approval processes, and record-keeping of telephone conversations.
The withdrawal of Itrade Global’s license formalizes its exit from the Cypriot financial market, underscoring CySEC’s ongoing efforts to enforce regulatory compliance and protect investors within the CFD and forex brokerage sector.
