Maintenance’ ART utility token does indeed function as a clearing and settlement mechanism for all transactions of artwork on the Maecenas ecosystem.

Maecenas aimed to democratize access to fine art by enabling fractional ownership through tokenization on the blockchain, and the ART token played a crucial role in the underlying mechanics of these transactions.
