Bruce Markets has recently secured a strategic investment round from prominent financial industry leaders, including Apex Fintech Solutions, Fidelity Investments, Nasdaq Ventures, NH Investment and Securities, PEAK6 Investments, Robinhood, tastytrade, and Webull. The exact amount of capital raised in this recent funding round has not been disclosed.
This investment is earmarked for the accelerated development of Bruce Markets’ overnight trading platform, Bruce ATS™. Bruce ATS is an Alternative Trading System (ATS) operated by SEC and FINRA-registered broker-dealer Bruce Markets, providing secure overnight access to U.S. Reg NMS securities. Currently, it facilitates trading between 8 PM and 4 AM ET, Sunday to Thursday.
Gary Offner, Head of Nasdaq Ventures, highlighted the significance of this development, stating that “extending trading capabilities beyond traditional hours represents a significant evolution in market structure” as global capital flows increase and investors seek access to markets across all time zones. He further noted that Bruce Markets has leveraged Nasdaq’s technology and data services to build a resilient and reliable overnight trading experience.
Key features of Bruce ATS™ include:
    * A robust and trusted trading platform built using Nasdaq’s industry-leading technology.
    * Streamlined access through industry-proven APIs for order management and market data.
    * Expertise in managing corporate actions to minimize order cancellations and trade failures.
    * Aims to provide seamless integration and scalable solutions for financial institutions.
    * Offers real-time data feeds like “Bruce Last Sale” for complete trade information and “Bruce Best Bid and Offer” for real-time liquidity snapshots, distributed exclusively through Nasdaq.
This strategic funding and the ongoing development of Bruce ATS™ aim to meet the growing demand for non-traditional trading hours, particularly appealing to international investors in East Asian and South Asian markets, and to enhance market access for both retail and institutional participants.
