We are seeking a Client Operations Analyst to join the team of a large bank located in Salt Lake City, UT. This role acts as the initial point of contact for the company’s clients regarding all post execution services. The ideal candidate would be able to quickly develop excellent product and industry knowledge and hit the ground running to avoid potential trade problems.

Client Operations Analyst Responsibilities:
Conduct trade confirmation and allocation
Ensure customer trade confirmations are accurate and concluded in a timely manner
Manage sub-allocated trade exceptions
Continuously monitor and manage operational risk throughout the length of the trade processing life cycle
Provide support to capital market trade processing as it relates to syndicate offerings
Provide support to account creation and documentation processes by liaising with the appropriate counterpart teams
Continually work to improve controls, efficiencies and customer service

Client Operations Analyst Requirements:
Bachelors degree and 2+ years experience in the finance industry
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-starter able to work independently and take initiative
Strong critical thinking, analytical and creative problem solving skills
Excellent client services mentality internally and externally
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high pressure environment
Ability to identify and improve current processes

This Client Operations Analyst position is a consulting opportunity with a well-known firm in Salt Lake City. It is offered at an annualized rate of $34,000 ($17 per hour) and is expected to last 9 months.
