Are you a finance professional with a specialized focus on telecommunications and sourcing? Do you have experience in assessing firm systems and providing recommendations for updates?

If you are knowledgeable about all aspects of a finance firm’s communication and data services and vendors, this could be your next step. We are seeking a Midlevel Telecommunications Consultant to drive all aspects of a top investment bank’s communications capabilities. The ideal candidate for this role would be an excellent communicator able to understand user needs and broker agreements with sourcing managers and vendors.

Midlevel Telecommunications Consultant Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert on all company communications systems including internet, network, voice, hardware and teleconferencing
Review pricing schedules and carrier contracts
Execute eAuctions
Review vendor RFXs and make recommendations accordingly
Analyze supplier RFX responses and data to assist with sourcing decisions
Identify and maintain KPI metrics by conducing reviews of vendor reports
Ensure firm is meeting obligations to inventory and spending commitments
Work with third party vendor to collect contracts and service orders in order to validate current circuit inventories in expense management system

Midlevel Telecommunications Consultant Requirements:
Bachelors degree and 5+ years combined telecommunications and sourcing experience a must
Ability to evaluate vendor RFXs and provide feedback and recommendations
Ability to work independently and with sourcing managers
Develop an understanding of vendors within telecommunications
Excellent oral and written communication skills

This Midlevel Communications Consultant position is a consulting role at a large investment bank in New York City. It is offered at an annualized rate of $116,000 ($58 hourly) and is expected to last at least 1 year.
