We are seeking a{Process Improvement Project Manager for a top investment bank located in West Patterson, NJ. This position is slated to develop initiatives related to the group’s process reengineering efforts, including managing up to 4 projects at a time. The ideal candidate for this role would be a demonstrably successful organizer of people and processes, and would be able to coordinate multiple teams.
 
Process Improvement Project Manager Responsibilities:
Manage project life cycle and plan, organize and implement necessary activities as related to client repricing, billing system, and standardization and operational efficiencies
Monitor implementation progress and execute corrective and escalation actions when necessary
Create and maintain documentation components of project plan including action logs, status reports, business requirements, risk logs, etc
Create meeting agendas and recaps to ensure progress
Liaise with internal teams and external resources to set expectations and track progress on deliverables, timelines, and problem resolutions
Actively manage discussions with senior management regarding timing, budget, issue resolution and risk mitigation
 
Process Improvement Project Manager Requirements:
Bachelors degree and 7+ years experience in finance
Background in broker/dealer services and clearing and collateral management is highly preferred
Excellent project and program management skills, ability to organize and follow up on actionable items
Solid business analysis skills
Strong understanding of process re-engineering best practices
Demonstrated success with the project management life cycle and strategic planning
Clear ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Excellent analytical, problem solving and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
High adaptability
 
This Process Improvement Project Manager role is a consulting opportunity with a top investment bank located in West Patterson, NJ. It is offered at an annualized rate of $140,000 ($70 hourly) and is expected to last at least 9 months.
