We are seeking an Operations Business Analyst to join the team of a large bank located in New York City. The ideal candidate for this role would have excellent Excel skills as well as a solid understanding of reconciliations.
Operations Business Analyst Responsibilities:
Support all client servicing, financial reporting and operational functions as they relate to alternative investments
Post valuations to client statements and maintain all client valuations
Coordinate and manage the subscription, redemption and billing process
Liaise with affiliated fund managers and other third parties as appropriate
Conduct analysis of current operational processes and identify potential issues
Gain knowledge of information processing systems and evaluate efficiency
Operations Business Analyst Requirements:
Bachelors degree and 2+ years work experience in finance
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to execute reconciliations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to liaise with various levels of the organization and external stakeholders professionally and diplomatically
This Operations Business Analyst position is a consulting opportunity with a well-known firm in New York City. It is offered at an annualized salary of $50,000 ($25 per hour) and is expected to last four months.
