We are seeking an Operations Support Associate to join the derivatives control unit of a well-known bank located in New York City. The ideal candidate for this role would be able to demonstrate his or her knowledge of listed derivatives and commodity products as well as strong proficiency with data analysis.
Operations Support Associate Responsibilities:
Conduct daily reconciliations and bring attention to exceptions
Conduct monthly substantiation of accounts including all listed derivatives account balances
Prepare periodic reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Escalate issues appropriately
Ad hoc requests as assigned
Operations Support Associate Requirements:
Bachelors degree and knowledge of the finance industry
Excellent MS Office proficiency especially Excel and Access
Creative problem solver with excellent critical thinking skills
Knowledge of commodity products and listed derivatives
This Operations Support Associate role is a consulting opportunity with a top bank in New York City. It is offered at an annualized salary of $38,000 ($19 per hour) and is expected to last 4 months.
