Senior Fund/ Fund Admin- Trade Processing – Financial Services – Edinburgh
1. Processing security trade transactions in line with the underlying funds valuation points.
2. Matching of Security Trades, based on details received from Managers and Brokers.
3. Issuing settlement instructions for trades and other transaction types to Custodians within agreed timescales.
4. Following up of queries with Client/Brokers, and daily checking of failed trades information received from Custodian, as well as investigating interest claims that have been received.
5. Maintain details of Broker/Counterparty Standing settlement Data, and data on Alert, or other standing data on Datamapper.
6. Participate in user acceptance of new / upgraded software as required.

– Knowledge & industry experience within:
– Failed Trades
– Trade Matching
– Trade Settlements
– Familiar and conversant with Custodians and Brokers
– Excellent knowledge of Settlement Practices with Investment Operations – ideally – Crest, DTC, Euroclear, Clearstream, European Settlement practices, Far East Settlement practices.
– Excellent attention to detail
– Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients at senior management level.
– Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
– Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines, taking into account relative priorities.
– Ability to identify and initiate process improvements preferably using Best Process Management techniques.
– Ability to monitor performance against objectives, through the development of MI and taking corrective action.
– A proven strong commitment to service quality.
– Proven ability to work independently and to motivate and influence others.
