Trade & Commodities Finance VP – SVP
I am working with a top tier investment bank in New York that is actively looking for a senior Trade Finance professional to join their New York team working on commodities and supply chain. This is a great opportunity for any talented Trade Finance candidates from investment banks to join an excellent business in a front office role. The role will involve the following:
- Will be focusing their work on Structured Trade and Commodity Finance
- Meeting clients and helping to win deals
- Strong involvement of Origination through Execution with strong deal knowledge
- Working with supply chain and letters of credit in a front office role
This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting and progressing Trade Finance business led by a well respected MD in the market. My client will only consider the following types of candidates:
- Essential to be at a more senior position at your current company
- Essential to have good numerical skills/ modeling skills and experience of building models from scratch
- Good communication skills are important as you will be speaking with clients and helping the origination efforts
- Must have credit experience (i.e. letter of credit)
- Perfect candidate will have skills in the following: ability to develop advanced financial models in coordination with clients needs/ supply chain skills/deal knowledge
