Selby Jennings is working for a top tier investment bank in New York City that is actively looking for 1 senior associate or vice president to join their Private Placements Unit within their Capital Markets team. They will play a major role in Structuring Projects/ lease-backed and corporate finance debt securities and places them with Insurance Companies in the US on a best efforts basis. The role will involve the following:
-Conduct Credit analysis on project and structured finance as well as corporate finance transactions
-Assess the feasibility of their placements with investors
-Indicate their USPP pricing levels
-Support the origination of USPP by working with RM officers
-Pitching and selling to clients and internal officers
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable Private Placements team that is growing and will give you more exposure into the business. My client will only consider the following types of candidates:
-Essential to be a Senior professional within Private Placements
-Past experience working in Private Placements and buy-side
-Record of Investing in Project and Corporate Finance in USPP
-Strong credit analysis skills
-Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
